The Salesforce data canvas
for power users.

Explore, edit, generate, migrate, and share Salesforce records in one place.

Org Loom canvas showing related Salesforce records alongside an open record editor
  • Free during the open beta, no credit card
  • Your canvas stays in Salesforce
  • Source-available core

Every record, side by side.

Every record you want, on one screen

Create, edit, delete, and link across Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities or whatever you’re working on, on a single canvas. Stage your edits together, then push the whole batch when you’re ready.

Share a canvas, not a pile of record links

Open a teammate’s shared canvas and work on it together. You’ll see their changes as they happen, and they’ll see yours. No more screen-shares to walk through which records you mean.

Move data between orgs, no CSV dance

Pull records from one Salesforce org, edit them on the canvas, push them to another. No exports, no field-mapping spreadsheets, no leaving the screen.

Let AI draft changes, keep AI out of your org

Connect Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT to your canvas via MCP. The AI reads what’s on the canvas and proposes inserts and updates, you approve. Salesforce data doesn't change until you upload.

Your canvas stays in Salesforce

Saved canvases are encrypted and stored as files in your Salesforce org. Org Loom does not store Salesforce record values or canvas contents at rest on its servers.

Refresh tokens are never saved

Refresh tokens are held only in temporary server memory and discarded when you sign out, disconnect, or the server restarts. They are never written to Org Loom's database.

Audit before you connect

The canvas core is source-available under the PolyForm Internal Use License 1.0.0. Your security team can audit the code before you point an org at us.

Common questions

Can I try Org Loom before installing anything?

Yes. The interactive playground lets you explore the canvas with sample Salesforce data without creating an account or connecting an org. When you are ready to use your own data, sign up and connect a sandbox or production org.

Do I need a Salesforce administrator to get started?

An administrator must install the Org Loom managed package in each Salesforce org you want to connect and assign its permission set to users. This is a one-time setup. The package supports encrypted canvas storage and does not grant access to your Accounts, Contacts, custom objects, or fields. See Connecting a Salesforce org for the setup steps.

When does Org Loom actually change Salesforce?

Not while you are arranging records or editing them on the canvas. Your work is staged until you choose to upload it. Before uploading, Org Loom shows what will be created, updated, or deleted and checks the records for problems. AI-generated records and suggestions are drafts too, so they do not change Salesforce unless you approve and upload them.

Where is my Salesforce data stored?

Salesforce record values and canvas contents are not stored at rest in Org Loom’s application database. Active work stays in your browser tab, with bounded temporary server memory used while a saved canvas is actively shared. When you save a canvas, its encrypted contents are stored as a file in your Salesforce org. Record values pass through Org Loom only while an authorized request is being processed. Read the Security and data handling page for the complete breakdown.

Does Org Loom bypass Salesforce permissions?

No. Org Loom works through the connected Salesforce user. Salesforce object permissions, field-level security, record sharing, and other access controls still apply. If that user cannot read or edit something in Salesforce, Org Loom does not grant that access.

Does the open beta cost anything?

No. Org Loom is not charging beta participants yet, and no credit card is required to join. We will communicate pricing before that changes, and we will not begin charging you automatically.

Can I use Org Loom with a team?

Yes. Team workspaces let members share and co-edit canvases while administrators manage roles, feature policies, production-org approvals, and workspace-wide activity history. People invited only to view a canvas still need a free Org Loom account, but they do not consume a paid seat or start a trial.

Do I have to use AI?

No. AI features are optional. You can use the canvas, imports, bulk editing, migration, collaboration, and upload recall without connecting an AI client. If you use Generate with AI or connect an MCP-compatible client, proposed changes remain on the canvas for review until you upload them.
